with all they got in the eMagic acquisition they will certainly put forth something.

they got hardware; control surfaces made by Mackie etc.

they got software; cd authoring, software synths, and music production apps.

"...Today Apple would like to announce its G5(whatever they call it) machines to run this"

haha jk, apple would probably want more press about their G5 then they'd get from this

    Alex,

have you ever seen the eMagic control surface for Logic in action?

i know it's made by Mackie and so it gives Apple a relationship with Mackie by proxy.

i have been longing for a firwire control surface and drum surface for years.

It would be pretty funny if Apple release the g5, but tried to make no one notice, like not make the press release on their news page, no pictures on front page, they use the same enclosures...be interesting.... no?

Bluesigns i see it all the time as it sits in front of my Formac LCD very nicely. I too am very hopeful for some firewire/mLan hardware from Applemagic. Don't forget that Emagic got quite annoyed with Mackie for relaesing a generic version of the Logic-only Logic Control , itself a possible response to Applemagic stopping Windows development of Logic and therefore shrinking the products target market.

Not long to wait now, either way.

    just for the record:

    it's written emagic not eMagic.

emagic (http://www.emagic.de or http://www.emagicusa.com) was aquired by apple.

eMagic is another company that has the <a href="http://www.emagic.com"; target="_blank">www.emagic.com domain. they do something with mortgages, whatever...

    bye

    software synths etc.

Emagic has debuted four new software bundles at the NAMM convention in Anaheim, Calif. The company has also introduced Logic Audio version 6 (covered in a separate story). The new collections cover vintage instruments, synths, the 6|2m Gold Production Kit and the TDM Collection
