How come everyone else can afford a website?

Okay, I want, about 20-30mb of webspace (let's say www.xfluida.co.uk), a pop email account ([email protected]) and lots of bandwidth, I already have 20mb of space with demon but it has a boring URL.

Where do I begin, can I build upon what I already have? My family use the pop account so I can't change that, I dont really want a .demon.co.uk URL. And there's no way I can afford £30 a month.

Where do I begin, Any suggestions? Please help.

Andrew

There are alot cheaper hosts than that. <a href="http://www.myacen.com"; target="_blank">www.myacen.com is a good one that's feature-full and cheap.

Andrew, if your site will not be commercial, pornographical, contain crxs, mp3s, zips, exes etc i could find a couple of alternatives that could be worth trying. (if they contain anything of that stuff mentioned above, the only difference is it will be removed sooner or later.)

Well, I guess, it could do without the, porn-movie soundtrack download area my dad's company was going to sponser. Seriously though, what are these alternatives? sounds good. When you say no MP3s, is that because of bandwidth and file size, or because of not pirating music? because the only problem is, it might be quite media rich.

Thanks for all your help everyone, I'm looking at your suggestions to decide the best offer for me.
