X11, Erin, and Evil

While re-dl'ing the SDK for apple's X11, i noticed an oddity on the bottom of the page. It mentions, without real reason, the UK and the sovereign Republic of Ireland. I should think on most apple pages, for the american site, no mention is given to the evil 'kingdom', nor Erin. I thougth that was odd, and incidentally pulled the mouse over the various mindless links on the bottom of the page. "Site Map", "Contact Us", and "Privacy Policy" all link to the uk subset of apple (links go to <a href="http://www.apple.com/uk/...)." target="_blank">http://www.apple.com/uk/...).</a>



Any one else notice this? Any one have some hare-brained theory as to why this is? Am I going cray-z?
