Amiga OS 4

I have been somewhat following the progress of Amiga... just because I still use the Toaster. The NewTek Toaster was mindblowing - and still is - for what it did back in the day. Anyhoo, is it me or does their <a href="http://os.amiga.com/os4/OS4GUIPre.php"; target="_blank">"new GUI"</a> look so far behind the times?

They have been talking about some third party building their hardware using G3's and G4's. But that was some time ago I read this...I wonder will they too be using the IBM 970?

Ohhh man! As much as I love my A500 and have been rooting for them over the past few years (I even went to AmigaCon back when it came here in 1998), that GUI is something ELSE!! Well, at least it looks better than Windows XP...

BTW, were'nt all the FX for Babylon 5 rendered on Amiga boxes?

I agree with the GUI looks better than winblows but it is kind of strange, aint tried it so i couldnt comment any further. But the good news is that the new amiga runs off a G3 and a G4ppc, which means with an emulater you can run the OS on your apple and vice versa, make a change from linux

Actually you can pretty safely say that even windows, any previous version of windows and too an extent even the awful kludge know as longhorn are all better looking than that. Yay for M$, they've hammered Amiga -- a dead platform -- with their superior interface aesthetics/ergos.

    Fugly.

    And oh yeah. . .

Friends don't let friends use Lightwave. ElectricImage is and always has been better, and it started as a mac only product.

No offence to anyone who likes it, but:

    It looks like ass.

Not enough coherancy if you ask me.
