Dell LCD panels. . . anyone have 'em?

There's a big small business sale going on at the Dell small business website. LCD panels are going for pretty damn cheap. (inventory clear-out, I presume, since they're clearly not making money on these).

I'm in the market for an LCD panel. I was going to get the Formac, but the price on the Dell 18 is just too good. Has anyone seen the Dell 18? Good? Bad? I'm pretty sure it's just a Sony 18 with a Dell badge.

I bought Dell's cheapest 19" CRT for the PC I built. It's for games, so I really don't care about the crappy color it puts out. Basically everything looks a little brown...less vibrant.

Not sure about the flat-panels...all the PC bargain hunters rave about them, but what do they know?

Many of the Dell LCD's are just rebadged panels from other manufacturers from what I've read online. I think the 19" LCD is a rebadged Samsung 191T, so that should be a very good monitor. I haven't the slightest clue what the 18" though.

We have a few 17's at work. My boss has one. I hate it. It's pretty crummy.

    Don't do it.
