SCSI Compatibility
Running Dual 800Mhz G4 with ultra SCSI adapter from factory, and OS 10.1.5.
I am confused about which SCSI Hard Drive to purchase for internal slot. Running Final Cut Pro 3 and DVD Pro. I have a Ultra SCSI PCI adapter installed but would like to install an internal SCSI Drive. ...the best SCSI "system" for editing video. I need about 70 to 80 GB of storage.
Can I install one of the newer SCSI 160 or 320 drives internally?
Will something limit the speed of the the drive? Am I wasting money trying to buy the fastest?
If I need other info like software, drivers, controllers, please advise.
