The Volito is a europe only tablet (for now) that for some unfathomed reason is Winblows only. Supposedly there is some Inkwell support and basic Graphire drivers sorta work, but no official support

If you can all just drop a note expressing the want for this new entry level tablet, I think you'd everyone a favor! The forum registration requires no email confirmation, just make a login and post away.

How is Volito different than their own Graphire?

    caution: rant.

Wacom dropped support for their serial tablets in OSX. there were 3rd party adapters from keyspan and others that adapt serial to USB but Wacom said "no" they will supply no drivers for these tablets because it wouldn't be right.

they can't gauruntee the throughput will be consistantly sufficient so in the "consumers interest" they won't put out a driver at all.

but if you want to pay them 170$ + shipping and taxes they will convert your serial tablet to USB.

so it wasn't enough that you shell out 500$ for a tablet originally and that you then shell out 70$ for a USB converter when serial ports are eliminated but now they want another almost 200$ to make your perfectly good tablet work again because they are looking out for your best interest.

I got the graphire Quartz tablet from macmall for like 89 bucks. Its white and clear plastic and matches my iMac pretty good. Never used a pad before but its neat and I am learning. What I really like is drawing in illustrator if you make a line and dont like it just undo it, no more eraser marks

What would really be neat would be a gizmo you could snap on your imac screen to make it a big touch screen.
