2018 iPad Pro 12.9 screen flicker on greyish backgrounds

I just recently bought the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9. It's an amazing piece of hardware. Though, when using certain Apps with greyish backgrounds the screen starts to subtly flicker. I couldn't record it, as the camera doesn't pick up the flickering. To possibly simulate the symptom, I'd suggest to open the YouTube App in dark mode and while scrolling down, simultaneously, pulling the controlcenter down -- keep in mind to focus on the white letters, as it starts to distort and spontaneously flicker. The odd things is that the screen functions perfectly normal when displaying bright colours, but when using an app mostly dominated with dark-greyish colours it just starts to subtly flicker... As such, I was wondering whether you guys perhaps had encountered the same issue.
