iPadPro (2018) as a DSLR field monitor?

Does the new iPadPro support video input via the USB-C connection? I’d like to use it as an external real-time field monitor for my DSLR camera (HDMI our from camera -> HDMI to USB-C adapter in to iPadPro).

I’ve been searching answers all week and still can’t determine if it’s possible.
