anyone know where I can get a history of this store?

When it was opened, maybe some pictures on opening day... The first person in line... whatever.

Francis I know you were there, care to help me out?

I need the info for... dont laugh... a paper that I have to write about a place in boston... I had a choice, so I decided to choose it.

I'll be heading over there tonight to get a first-hand experience with the store...

    You had a choice and you chose the Apple store? Come on Technically, it isn't even in Boston

    I was at the Salem, NH opening instead that day. Sorry.

    Edit: If you're going over there, why not ask them about it? They did, after all, most likely record the event using store camcorders to show off iMovie.

    But who would really want to go to Chestnut Hill University?

    Paul, I got lost too. I felt so stupid when I realized it was about a block from the T... I had to walk in the other direction, finally asking where it was at a CVS about a 10 minutes away... oh well.

    Honestly now, you can write about anything in Boston and you choose an Apple store which is in a mall that isn't in Boston? <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" />

    well, here is my second revision to the paper if anyone cares to read it: <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/psantora/CambridgeSideRev2.htm"; target="_blank">http://homepage.mac.com/psantora/CambridgeSideRev2.htm</a>;

    constructive criticism is welcome!

    Staci (the professor) said i need to come up with a better title, work on my transitions by using them to insert myself into the paper more often like I did in the opening paragraph, and to trim the physical description of the store in lieu of more personal and general dialog about the store as a whole and my connection with it...

    any help is appreciated.

    I will be going back there tomorrow for some more research (and to pick up my new <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=002762"; target="_blank">iPod Case</a>, <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=002071"; target="_blank">power cord</a>, and deal with <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=7&t=002756"; target="_blank">this</a> problem...

    Jesus...thats a hell of a T ride from B College to Lechmere. And don't worry about picking the Apple Store as a story subject. Two of my FWS papers for "Writing From Experience" (Cornell U., Fall of 1994) were about A) going to a Rush concert in Worchester earlier that spring and B) drinking at my buddy's cabin during hs. The teacher for my section especially liked the second one owing to its "fascinating character development". <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    She was even more impressed that I was an engineering student. Apparently in her world I was supposed to have all the communication skills of a stale pizza crust.
