2018 iPad Pro -> USB stick
I have a new 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 and I want to transfer files & Documents from a Sandisk Extreme Pro 128 GB USB stick, formatted FAT32, to the ipad. I tried Files and FileBrowser Business and can't get it to work.
Can I do this and if so how? Please state *all* requirements as I've tried several solutions with out success.
I do not have a Mac computer and I don't want to use iCloud. If it is not possible to do the above please state why.
Thankyou, Gus

The only way storage will work is using a specially built option like the following:

A NAS drive is also an option, which is like your own personal iCloud and you can allow access to this from outside your house if you wanted to access data on the go. That gets plugged into the router and can be accessed from the Filebrowser app:
