GiveBack discrepancies?
Hi all,
I recently checked out the new iMac model and I'm very interested in it due to the added processing power. The more CPU firepower I have, the better it is for the 3D rendering I do.
Currently, I use an iMac mid-2017 and am looking to upgrade to a new one.
When I had a look at the models on the Apple site, American version, I checked out the GiveBack program to find out how their trade-in thing works. Only out of curiosity, knowing that I would have to order on the German site as I live in Germany. Everything seems to work fine. I'd get a juicy credit for my device.
A bit later, I go to the German site to look at the same iMac model to compare pricing and... perhaps set up the order. I enter my info for GiveBack and... on the German side, they don't take iMacs that are more recent than 2015? The page tells me to simply recycle my Mac, which makes little sense.
Has anyone ever seen this kind of discrepancy between countries? Any clue?
