Microsoft's shares in Apple

Do they still own a bite out of Apple?



I know it's unlikely, but if Apple rotted and died would Microsoft have a stake in their technology (I'm thinking about the Sendo business here. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    Nope, MS sold off their shares quite a while ago IIRC.

    Those shares weren't regular voting shares of common stock anyway, IIRC.

    Doesn't seem like a whole lot...what was the market cap back then?
