New ibook
Hello, this is my first time posting! I just had to post that I got my twelve-inch ibook yesterday!! YAY!!! This is my first time owning a mac...yeah, I'm a switcher. The ibook is so light..it is amazing!! I was so impressed with the speed at which I got it. I ordered it Wednesday afternoon and got it Friday by one. I was so excitied for it to arrive that I must have checked the tracking status a hundred times. I am going to put my apple sticker on my car. The only down side to the ibook is getting it out of the clutches of my fiance's hands!! No, he is great...he is the one that really introduced me to the joys of macs. Anyway, I LOVE MY IBOOK!!!

And I second Paul. I've found people on this forum to be very helpful with every question I have had. Hope your iBook serves you well.

I sure hope you bought at least another 256MB RAM to the original 128MB.

We're working on that and airport as well. We have to wait for apple to post the charges to her education loan before we can use it for stuff at MacMall. We're poor college students until the summer so if it can't go on the loan, we can't get it.
I'm surprised at how well it's doing on the 128 though. She did run in to the memory issue finally though. You can sure tell when the virtual memory kicks in, sucks the performance way down. Anyone know where I can find an OS9 style memory program. I'd like to see how much memory OSX and various programs use.
