Lindows.com vs. Microsoft

okay, let me get this straight...



Microsoft is suing Lindows for ripping off its user interface, and playing off the name "Windows."



In retaliation, Lindows has requested the official documents from Apple vs. Microsoft back in the early 90's where Apple sued Microsoft for ripping off the user interface, but Microsoft won.



So Microsoft inadvertently created the very evidence that will ensure that they don't have a leg to stand on against Lindows...



AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

    I was thinking about Apple v. Microsoft when I first heard about this suit. I bet Lindows gets off the hook.

    Guess what? Apple was really stupid and gave up all rights to sue M$ in a lega agreement a long time ago for "an undisclosed sum of money." Sucks huh?



    I hope Lindows wins but maybe they should try copying a better UI Maybe they could ask Apple if they can use Platinum?

    im a lindows insider and i only hope they win. the main issue is the use of the "lindows" name. ms feels it may confuse users with the "windows" os will ms win? well they have so far... look at how many people use ie, "because it came with my computer" im one of the last few using netscape for instance, thats why i was so happy to hear about apple's safari browser...
