    Surround sound?

That looks cool but I hope it's affordable. Surround sound for my PowerBook will be perfect. Does this also do MIDI or is it just pure audio? This looks cool thanks for that link hmurchison.

Powercore is currently available on PCI only.

It's designed to run Plug In effects without taxing your CPU. There's reverbs, compressors, EQ etc.

    Whats cool about this is

    1. Firewire...notebooks, iMacs now can take advantage of excellent plugins.

    2. Easier to run multiple units.

    3 More powerful.

That's cool! But I'm looking for a FireWire surroun sound and/or MIDI box.

That would be cool! I'm dying to try some 5.1 mixes as soon as I setup a small studio.
