i just visted for the first time the apple store in Schaumburg adn i was very impressed. i saw at lest 2 maybe 3 systems bought including accessories. one thing that disturbed me though was on kid went in there to get on VPC to play solitare. it just made me kinda sad that he went in the Apple store to get on VPC. And then only to play solitare. Couldn't they install like a native solitare game or hearts game. just and observation

hahaha..that is hilarious! I think it is funny that the number one windows program is Solitare, it is used the most often I think. I am glade Apple does not have a game like that, it distracts people too often

I agree. Face it, Chess is quite useless. What is cool about solitare is the fact you can get up and play it (that is what makes it so popular). There a ton of open source games out there that Apple could use. I would love to see the following games included with Mac OS X:

    Card games

    Tetris clone

    Breakout

    Pong

    Chess isn't useless, just impossible!

They should probably toss in a few of those .Mac freebie games at least. And maybe they need a new puzzle.app!

They should revisit that space shooter game from the AfterDark screensavers a long time ago. That game was fun.
