Printer Advise

I'm looking for some pre-purchase printer advise. Does anyone have any recommendations for the following:



Cheap

OSX (and girlfriends peecee) compatible



Can anyone tell me what is the best bang for buck?



Any advice on what NOT to get?

    For Christmas my girlfriend got me a Epson Stylus Photo 820, and it's an awesome printer. I haven't had any problems getting it to work with OS X, but I don't know how much it was.

    Definitley the Canon i550. One of the best printers out there and for like $110 on amazon.com, it's an awesome deal. The ink is especially inexpensive and it prints borderless 4x6 and 8.5x11 prints. Amazing printer, check out the reviews on tomshardware.com and stuff. A few of my friends each picked one up and they love them. I have the predecessor to it, the S750.
