2 Mouse Me or Not Too Mouse Me
Well now that we have an idea of how the next Power Mac will look like.....will we get the one and only 2-button mouse from Apple?
I think Apple is way late on this one as the one button mouse is what made the Mac in the 80s, and that is easy.....but in today?s world of using most apps it's more or less a pain.....I used a 2 button mouse on a PC the other day and saved so much time doing my work that I asked how come Apple hasn't made there own yet?
I know you can go out a buy a 2 button mouse for the Mac but I like Apple to make there own....as I think this is one of the many things that hold PC users to come to our side.
I haven't read any rumours on the next apple mouse...if there are any please post as I like to know if they will come with the next Power Mac....as I may get it.

The LOCKness Monster(ie Jamie) hehehe.
I'm for Apple staying with the current mouse so that we keep 3rd party options strong.

For what?
Apple should just sell extra buttons separately

Yeah we could do that with the G5, G5 sold separately.....
But on the subject....i realy think apple should make there own and put them with the pro macs....as for the iMacs...doesn't matter...but pro people want pro macs want pro things for there money.

alright, apple should have a 2 button mouse, but they don't. just go out and buy a new one like everyone else. PC users already have mice for their computers. they can plug them into their mac.
get over it. if we get a new 2 button mouse, great. otherwise suck it up and get a new one.
Apple, you make the best OS and software out there with good looking hardware......but move your ass in the Mhz and Bus speeds and move with the times and go to a Pro mouse. It's for the good of us and in the ($$$ ) for you too.

Shake will require a 3 button mouse, so if Apple releases a mouse with more than one button, I would put my money on a 3 button mouse.

Maybe the new mouse will include more buttons, but they'll only be activated once you sign up for a .Mac account

"When we introduced the mouse with a button, it was revolutionary, but times change, so from today we're introducing .activator - a whole new concept in mouse control for just $99!"

Or Apple could make a more expensive product that everyone still replaces.
$21 MS mouse
Optical 5-Button USB Mouse for $10
Microsoft Intellimouse Optical for $17
Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse for $11
I know apple SHOULD provide a decent mouse, but they don't and they probably won't so spring for the $10 mouse cause if you got $1100 for a brand new emac, then you can probably find $10 somewhere. i know it's not fair, but there's not much you can do about it
