It’s official, AirPod Pros are meant to quietly hiss!

After visiting an Apple store today to get my hissing AirPod Pros fixed, the agent confirmed the hissing is normal and not a reason for service, repair or replacement. The quiet hissing occurs in noise cancelling and transparent modes. Off, silences the white noise.

So we’ve had, you’re holding it wrong.
Now we have they’re meant to hiss.

oh dear Apple. Your staff recommended asking Amazon for a refund if I was unhappy with the hiss.
