Apple on Wednesday announced three Apple TV+ original productions, "Beastie Boys Story," "Central Park" and "Home," will premiere at the 2020 South by Southwest festival in March.

Revealed in a press release, the three exclusive projects will debut at SXSW prior to global premieres on the Apple TV+ streaming service.

Apple's "Beastie Boys Story," announced earlier today," tells the story of the Grammy Award-winning group through the lens of band members Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz. The non-fiction documentary is dubbed a "personal story" of the band and "40 years of friendship," as presented by longtime friend and collaborator Spike Jonze.

"Central Park" is an animated series about a family of caretakers who live and work in New York's Central Park. Created by Emmy Award-winning animator Loren Bouchard ("Bob's Burgers"), the show is executive produced by Nora Smith ("Bob's Burgers") and stars Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs and Kathryn Hahn. News of Apple's involvement in the series was first revealed in March 2018.

Finally, "Home" is a docuseries that takes a "never-before-seen" look inside the world's most innovative homes and "unveils the boundary-pushing imagination of the visionaries who dared to dream and build them," according to Apple. The show is produced by Joe Poulin, Matt Weaver, Bruce Gersh, Ian Orefice, Doug Pray, Collin Orcutt, Matt Tyrnauer, Corey Reeser and Kim Rozenfeld. "Home" was picked up for Apple TV+ in January 2018.

While Apple will likely screen the entirety of "Beastie Boys Story," it is unknown how many episodes of "Central Park" and "Home" will be available at the festival. Following the screening, "Beastie Boys Story" will be available on Apple TV+ from April 24. Release dates for "Central Park" and "Home" have not been announced.

SXSW runs from March 12 through March 22.

At least one valuable production is made by Apple: “for all Mankind”
Absolute kudos for this very intelligent series.
I found out that it is made by the people mainly responsible for the Outlander series.
They have an outstanding trackrecord creating ultra realistic (time) period sets and mode. They also have a very good idea of realistic psychology.
The technology they show is really outstanding (also from design perspective), its very good to see this (again).
