I would kindly like to ask you if you can please change my status of Junior Member to a Regular member. I wish that you can do this because i am embarased to have a Junior Member status instead of a Regular Member Status after being in the boards so long.

P.S. I will greatly appreciate your help.

It's not difficult, some time ago we needed 250 post in order to reach this full member status.

Umm.. i'm not an admin so i don't know exactly what the Junior->Full membership threshold is.. i guess it's higher than 41 posts. It used to be 250, you know.

Anyway, perhaps Jonathan or Amorph can enlighten us, but in the mean time, who cares?

Nobody is going to think less of you for having a few posts. Everybody starts with 0 posts, and the Junior Member status is a post count indicator only.

Full member status now kicks in at 50 posts.

That means about 10 more posts when you have something to add, and you'll be a Member.

    For what that's worth.

Well, looks like he finnaly got his 50 posts... even if most of them DID come from the suggestions forum

P.S. Admins: it looks like the reply window problem is happening for all my posts...

I suggest you remove the status thing. Why?

Because of nx7oe... I don't want to have to read posts like these:

    <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=001722"; target="_blank">Read his posts...

Just because some stupid guy with no life wants a higher "status"...

I can't speak for noone but myself but I wouldn't be surprised if others are thinking the same as I am.

nx7oe, don't spam the boards to rack up post count.

You'll see that you are still a junior member, even though you have accrued enough posts to be a member. However, as these posts are contentless, I have decided to keep you as a junior member until you start posting in a manner that merits full membership here.

So, in short, start acting like a responsible member, and you will become a member.
