I've actually started to like the preview and poll options, but I sorely miss being able to search by a poster's name (member number only). If enabling the former means losing the latter, I say we keep 6.1.0.2.
So far, we've decided to hold off on 6.3 for AI for a few reasons:
1. Speed hit is absolutely unacceptable. The new features added don't make up for the ~20% speed hit that the boards recieve. Who's Online saps an extra 10% speed. As of now, Lean and mean.
2. Polls are a good feature, but the current implementation leaves MUCH to be desired. They're entirely too complicated and just, well, ugly.
3. We would need some new graphics to be designed for 'new poll', the poll buttons, and the poll indicator for thread list. As of yet, we have none of the sort.
We had started using the UBB Accelerator (coined UBB Extreme by our none-too-cheeky mods) and that led to the 'last post hack' (where clicking on the name in the right column in the thread list view leads to the last post in that thread) becoming disabled.
UBB Accelerator did show a good speedup on our current setup, though, so it's a possibility that once the last post hack can be made to coexist with the UBB Accelerator, (which would render the speed deficit of 6.3 null and void) we may get it.
So, if anyone wants to design some graphics, i'll have a much better case with Gzl and Px about installing 6.3 for us.

I'd give a shot at it if I knew what graphics I had to make...guess I'm going to go take a peek at MacNN.
