More Descriptive TITLE tags

Hi,

I was wondering if you could add more descriptive TITLE tags to some of your pages.

For instance, the current TITLE tag for the main page of each forum is simply "AppleInsider." This makes it a bit difficult when switching between various forums (multiple instances of "AppleInsider" in IE5's Window menu). How about something like "AppleInsider - Future Hardware"?

Also, as I'm typing this new thread topic, the title of the window is...drum roll..."AppleInsider". How about something like "AppleInsider - Suggestions - Post New Topic" (like it says on the page itself)?

Thanks,

Sean

I don't have any problems with the way it currently is.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from DoughBoy.

I would also find this very helpful if it could be implemented. It would also give Jonathan something to do, we don't want him getting lazy.

It would help when using Chimera bookmarks with tabs for every forum. Instead of one long row of "Appleinsider"´s you could get the description.

Makes no difference to me as I don't come here very often, not like powerdoc

hmmm just a random question, do admins get censored? and is "ass" still censored?

    test: ass ass

    <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    sorry, its fun being childish... <img src="graemlins/embarrassed.gif" border="0" alt="[Embarrassed]" /> <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

Edit: I guess not... and to get back on topic:

I think more descriptive titles would be a good thing... esp OS 9 users who employ windowshade...

    Yes.

The censor filter is global and unconditional.

On topic, I agree that more descriptive titles would be a good thing. I'll have to poke around and see what's possible.

I never thought about people using OS 9. For them it's a good idea.

I never think about people using OS 9. It's just too scary to think about them fiddling about with a dead guy.
