Now that American Idol has hit the airwaves...
I would love to see a breakdown/analysis of the gear being used to film the at-home sessions of American Idol. What brand of ring light are they using? Tripods? How many iPhones? How are they creating the variety of camera angles used in each song. (I know it is with multiple iPhones, but how are they switching between the phones). How is the content then shared with the studios? Does the studio then compile the various video's from the iPhone into one product? is any of it done with FaceTime?
