good idea! it could turn appleinsider into more of a hub for mac users. (which could get more clicks I might add )

Bullshit. Plenty of mac links already (even included in Explorer/Navigator). Why should we have another round of rechewing the web?

I don't. There is a nifty feature in most browsers, handy especially for finding pages you use often. Some call it bookmarks, some call it favorites.

I call it soup. (flip the burger) Hence, I dis-agre. I say HAVE the links page. And make sure you put one on there for applehistory, mac addict, xlr8yourmac, and webforever.com

    K? Cool.

i don't usually bookmark some place i go two or three times a year....plus, people new here might like a list of places to go to check out and download mac stuff.....my bookmarks and favorties get too cluttered and become useless...i like having 5 to 10 favorites....and it is nice if those favorites then direct or lead me to other places to check out.....i love links....maybe it is just me...g

Hell, my displeasure with the proposition is very relative, and I'll be the first to admit it. I know nobody has got to visit something he doesn't want to, so I wouldn't want to combat over this. I might even visit it in the end.

So maybe we should put up some poll or other, and then have an official 'approved by the Appleinsider membership' links page. Maybe. It doesn't sound that bad actually (but that's because I now live in the illusion that I actually came up with something - don't mind me).

Blacklist sites affiliated to me... your loss, pal.

There are probably issues with Slaptech that would prevent AppleInsider from "endorsing" a few sites through a links page. The best bet is probably just a thread about good links. And that's really boring <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
