Just a few suggestions from a noob...



1.) Please stop quoting the entire original thread. I point no fingers and name no names. You know who you are.



2.) A few threads, not sure how old they are, suggested an upgrade to vBulletin. Personally I think vB is too much. And not worth purchasing when the alternatives such as phpBB are available for free and have more than enough features. If any of the admins want me to help them setup phpBB or convert the database I can.



3.) Errrm

    We already have vBulletin. We've had it for several months. Why haven't we made the switch yet? The MacNN goons haven't given us proper access to the server to do it. <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    Veteran Ramblings:



    The worst is line by line quoting where the replier has something to say for every single quoted paragraph or part of a quoted paragraph, and it goes on forever. If the responses are going to be that frequent, then just put it in paragraph form. It's just annoying having to read a different quote and reply 50-freaking times in one post.

    If a paragraph is being refuted point by point, I see nothing wrong with doing that.



    The one that bothers me is quoting the entire post when you are posting the FIRST reply in the thread. I've started deleting the quoted text in posts like that in my forums. It's unnecessary.

    I see that happen very often. I mean, I could also say:
