    smart ass.

vB uses php, not perl. So when the url ends in .php instead of .cgi, we've made some sort of a switch...

In case you don't believe these guys, no, we are not on vB yet.

Believe me, it will look different enough for you to notice that something has changed.

So a very confused me asks...

Let me get this straight, so the bottom does NOT say vB so we must NOT be running it right? (confused still....) It's like there are conflicting reports. Either we ARE or we AREN'T. Can somebody drop the sarcasm and answer? Thx.

Okay, let's see if I can do this without pointing any names...

"We" are ready, as far as we can tell without actually testing the import. Jon and I shut down earlier to rebuild the stats and indices so that UBB would be clean and ready for an import into vB. Then why not make the import? Well, there's "upper management" above us on whom we are waiting. Waiting for what? To reinitialize the SQL tables for vB because "upper management" has in its boundless wisdom chosen to not give us the ability to do that ourselves.

    Does that make any sense?

Hey Brad. Howzit that AI got tied to those 'upper management' guys anyway? Is it a serving/bandwidth thing, convenience, some sort of Mac network? Just curious.

    Thanks, G.
