The future of AI

So anyone know what the plans for AI is? There were some kind of takeover a couple of month ago but beside the change in the theme on the front page I can´t really say that they have done much.

Is there a long term strategy of some kind or what? If not perhaps someone should talk to the owners and we could chip in and make it user owned to prevent the "Cube? I don´t know anything about a cube" syndrome.

They will implement a new kind of Code for posts, but will be disabled soon after it is misused

it will enjoy a brief moment of notoriety and press coverage as AI changes format and become the 1 billionth porn site on the web...it's short claim to fame will end a week later as MOSR changes format and becomes the 10 billionth porn site on the web....g

Unfortunatly, the site would be pretty cheap to buy. The main expense would the bandwidth and server space. Maybe we could get one of the mac hosting companies to donate a server at reduced charge in exchange for advirtising. As long as a few ads could be displayed the site should break even.

And if a positive cash flow came in we could reward correct posts with cash (Like the crazy idea in GD) To counter act people posting crazy rumors, if you wanted a chance of winning money, you would have to pay in. (kinda like a betting system).

I wish road runner would change their policy of not letting its users host websites...

I wanted to purchase Appleinsider. I even called the Macnn offices in some attempt to get ahold of someone. I sent emails to everytime of posted address and even some I thought might work ([email protected]) for example and they all bounced back.

I am interested, someone is welcome to contact me.

    That'd be...fugly.

(Not really) of interest, Mac OS X's built-in spelling suggests that I spell fugly as 'fugally,' as if that is a word.

How about more pinstripes? And we need green...lots of bright, shiny green.

Sure, I could have spent the time looking up 'fugally' and discovering its obscure definition, but that would have been a waste of time. I have much more pressing things on my mind, like posting. And...stuff.
