Apple on Monday added Japanese and Simplified Chinese subtitle support to hundreds of Worldwide Developers Conference 2020 videos.

WWDC20 Subtitles

Announced in a post to Apple's developer portal, the addition delivers Japanese and Simplified Chinese language subtitles to this year's WWDC Special Event Keynote, Platforms State of the Union, and over 200 technical sessions.

Apple introduced a slew of new software at WWDC20, including next-generation flagship operating systems iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 6, macOS Big Sur and tvOS 14.

The mobile iOS 14 is bristling with feature additions like home screen widgets, support for bite-sized App Clips, picture-in-picture media playback, threaded messages and more. Apple's iPadOS 14 gains enhanced first-party app designs with a concentration on simple navigation, widgets, and Apple Pencil updates including Scribble handwriting recognition.

Arguably the most impactful system change is slated to debut with Mac when Apple transitions away from Intel chips to its own Apple silicon. The company is preparing to make the switch with macOS Big Sur, which supports both Intel x86-64 processors and Apple's future ARM-based CPUs.

Developers can access Apple's catalog of WWDC20 videos through the company's developer website.
