A clear LCD may look cool for design reasons, but for practical reasons, there are enormous shortcomings. For example, if you were a graphic designer, the pure white backlight which normally provided your overall color scheme would be gone.

Sure, it's more of a cool design feature than anything else. It looks futuristic. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> I'd get one.
