It's pretty much useless.  May as well get rid of it altogether if there's no intention to add sorting by date, or filtering by user, thread, folder etc.

    Lol, and seconds latyer I realise that you can get to a more advbanced search by going to https://forums.appleinsider.com/search

    Might be worth having a more prominent link to that somewhere.

    Although the additional stuff on that search page seems to be not entirely functional, so OP stands.

    e.g. the most recent result that search throws for "Apple TV" is 2003
