SSI Pages display right in Apache, not under Microsoft Server

So, I tested and made this page, on Apache, for my school, which uses a MS server. Today, I uploaded all of the pages to the school server, and now it is telling me that they are "404"ed, even though it is clear that they are in the right directory... so, do MS servers use differnet codes for includes ( the <--#include virtual=""-->) than Apace does? I would not think so because the server is saying that the files cannnot be found.....

much thanks

No.. not really... it should look like:

    < !--#include file="yourfilehere" -- >

    Which is a direct call...

or using virtual like your previous example.

Are you sure that SSI is turned "on", on your windows server?

yeah, i am pretty shure, because it says the file cannot be found, thus it is not just ignoring the includes
