Big Sur SSV must be case-insensitive?

Formatted & reinstalled Big Sur after a long period.  Realized there’s the system snapshot and my terminal become case-insensitive (typing “LS” and “ls” or “Ls” worked the same way, which it shouldn’t).

Trying for a third time and see what’s going on.
