Im not 99% sure, but im quite certain that this was only in a french-only update... Try searching on Versiontracker and see if it comes up with a special update.

What choice do you have?
1. Stay with whatever you have now
2. Update
If you choose 1, you will eventually want to upgrade, AAC, or any future enchancements will make you upgrade it right?
Or just do it now, even if it will limit the output level. (besides it's for your own good). Get with the program
