Using iBook with lid closed
You know the iBook and the new 12" Power Book have very similar shape and design. I think one of the few differences is that one has a G3 and the other has a G4.
I actually heard that the G4 expels more heat than a G3, so why in the world can you operate a 12" PowerBook with the lid closed and not an iBook?
I know that they might have different ways to expel their heat, but it seems like it is safe to do this.

Notice Apple never tells you why you can't do this, might just be one of those things to make the iBooks not compete with the powerbooks.

Yep, just like, without a firmware hack, you can't have multiple monitors (not mirroring).
