Playing music on Homepod mini without Siri nor interrupting audio currently playing on iPhone

Sorry, searched forums, but nothing came up and I think that forum search might be busted.

I like playing some ambient background music on my Homepod Minis.  If I wanted to change the music playing on my Homepod minis via Apple Music without interrupting whatever is currently playing on my iPhone, how can I do it, without using Siri?
