"Explorer Running Critically Low On Memory" message!

I'm running 9.1 and Explorer 4.5. Despite the fact that I have 384 mb of RAM on my iMac, I keep getting this message after I've opened a few web pages. There doesn't seem to be an option to allocate more memory to Explorer through "Get Info." I'm sure this is a very basic novice problem, and I appreciate any info. I also realized I posted this in the wrong forum (General Discussion) erroneously. I'm quite the genius. Thanks

looks like the right forum to me...

quit IE get info on the app from the finder and you should be able to adjust memory... why arn't you running 5.0.2?

To repost my reply from the first thread:

To change Internet Explorer's memory allocation, you need to quit the program first, then open the Get Info window and enter a new allocation. You'll find the option marked "Memory" in the pulldown menu.

IE tends to suck up lots of RAM, especially when viewing pages with a lot of images.

Of course, under OS X, you don't have to worry about any of that nonsense.
