If this offers the same improvement level that 10.2 did over 10.1 then it should be another nice step forward...

    Panther should be the serious fix that I've been waiting for (hopefully) if the performance levels are major improvements over Jaguar, and hopefully loads of bug fixes and extra features.

    Personally, I've been putting off upgrading from 10.1.5 for ages (...don't ask) and think I'll wait until Panther has been doing the rounds for a little while 'cos I hate downloading updates all the time.

    Yeah, this is a "next major release" and should include an amazing variety of new things and upgraded things..... so, head over to the Mac OS X forum and discus it there
