MacStadium, Teradici team up to provide high-performance remote Mac access
MacStadium and software company Teradici have partnered to launch a new offering that will allow for high-performance remote access to Mac devices over the cloud.

Teradici is a company that creates remote access protocols and services, while MacStadium is a hosting company that allows users to remotely control Mac hardware.
The collaboration will allow users to remotely access Apple macOS hardware just like they were on a local machine. Working with Apple, the endeavor uses MacStadium's Mac infrastructure and Teradici's Cloud Access Software, which provides a remote access experience that can handle even graphics-intensive tasks.
"We're excited to bring Teradici remote technology to the Mac, and to enable Mac users to benefit from powerful remote access. The combination with MacStadium's enterprise-class cloud capabilities will surely delight users of the platform," said Ziad Lammam, Teradici's VP of Product Management.
The two companies say that the offering will allow Mac-based enterprise and business users to deploy secure and high-performance remote access technology. MacStadium and Teradici say it'll support a range of use cases, including using Macs as servers, automating continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and bringing Mac desktops to "wherever they are needed."
"Companies that want to leverage Mac hardware in the cloud choose MacStadium for our expertise and long history of building innovative Mac solutions. We are excited for this partnership, and we know that combining Teradici CAS technology for macOS with our cloud-hosted Mac infrastructure will provide users with the remote working experience that they have been waiting for," said Chris Chapman, chief product officer at MacStadium.
The Teradici cloud access software will require Macs running either macOS Catalina or macOS Big Sur. Any endpoint, including Windows or Linux machines, will be able to connect to a Mac remotely.
Teradici CAS support on MacStadium will become available in mid-2021. Pricing is not yet available.
