Entourage to mail.app migration question

Currently use Entourage X to do all my mailing (pop & imap), got lots of old mails and a few in my inboxes. Getting WAY too much spam of late so I was wondering just how good all this mail.app anti-spam-stuff worked? also how could I easily migrate my mail from one to the other?
