Oh! OOHHH!!! don't even get me started about OSX. i want it so, so badly. if they released it for x86 architecture i think over half of the people running windows would switch.

I posted on a predominantly pc-user board(nothing to do with computers on the forum) and I mentioned OS X, and this was the response I got

I think that's pretty cool, it seems that a lot of people have similiar feelings for the OS, which is pretty sweet.

I have a friend that is a hardcore XP fan, and he says that he might switch to Mac after his AMD goes kaput, as long as its a 970. 8)

It isn't so strange when you consider the many positive reviews and rewards from both mac and wintel centric sides. Even Linux users respect mac OS X, and a lot of them are using it on their PowerBooks.

If only we could get hardware that could match or surpass the wintel side. I'm sure that's holding a lot of people back right now.

I think if people could run something other than windows and have their software work without a problem, we'd see a ton of switchers. People don't generally like using windows but bear it because it's what they have to use to use their stuff. It's a losing battle.
