Removing CleanMyMac's hidden disk scanner?
Hey does anyone know how to remove CleanMyMac's hidden disk scanner? I found my disks churning constantly and found there was a software "feature" that continuously scans your hard drive, looking for something. There is no way to turn it off within the app. The Menu widget says it is realtime malware scanning. It takes up CPU time and offers me no useful functions so to me, it IS malware.
It appears this is a launchd that takes some effort to delete and prevent reinstall by the app. Has anyone successfully removed this launchd malware while retaining CleanMyMac's on-demand ONLY features?
