Nightmare ! One of the kids at the school has deleted an entire iMovie project from the hard disc " to make space for his " !!! Do I have any way of finding this again? It was put into the trash and the trash emptied. I can't afford to buy a full program for this so is there any easy way to bring it back to life? I know didley about the terminal so that would be a last resort, even if it were possible. thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I know Norton does but it has to be installed before the file is deleted. And you said you didn't want to buy a new program...

i think the only recourse in this situation is to beat the crap out of the kid who threw away your stuff.

    i think it's gone AFAIK.

especially if he had to trash it to make room for his own. that would mean the disk is almost full, and he overwrote your data with his.
