Temparature

I knw that intel p4 chips are normally running at about 35 - 50 degrees c, and that i should worry when it gets to about 70.

AMD's are higher at a normal temp of 50 - 70. And will last till about 90.

So... What is the normal running temp for a G4 cpu? and do macs have temp sensors in the chip & on the mobo so it is possible to keep an eye on cpu and ambient temp?

Older G4s had a temperature sensor on board, but it's always hard to know how reliable the readings are. AFAIK, there haven't been temperature sensors fitted to Mac mobos.

Usually you know it's too hot when all sorts of weird random crashes occur...
