How to make Safari forget?

How do I make Safari forget pages I've previously visited? I don't mean clearing the history in the history menu but make it completely forget the pages. It's annoying when writing in the address bar and it starts completing URL of a page I previously visited but don't intend to visit again.

Thanks in advance

Put it in front of a grand jury.

Or maybe to got ~home/Library/Caches/Safari. I'm guessing this is like "empty cache", which may or may not be the same as "clear history". Try both.

don't type www, if you've cleared out your history, it will autofill from your favorites as well. you can't very well clear that out, so not typing www does the trick.

Thanks for the tips. I had one 'unwanted' bookmark. After deleting it everything is just fine
