Has anyone purchased this deal?

Why is it so cheap compared to the prices on Microsoft and Apple's website?

Who provides the download link? Microsoft?

Just to confirm, this is the Desktop version and not 365, right?

What am I missing? The price seems too good to be true...

Gotta say, 85% discounts - even for a one-time installer (which I don't like, at all, so probably would never buy anyway - hello disk crash, goodbye money) - just doesn't seem commercially feasible to me.

I've never heard of one-time purchase. If that's the case, then it doesn't work for me at all.

This particular offer is for the standalone license of Microsoft Office Home & Business 2021 for Mac - Desktop Access (as opposed to Microsoft 365). It's been a very popular deal that's running through StackCommerce. Users that purchase the license will receive a key to redeem the software, which can be downloaded at https://setup.office.com/.
