Ok, for all I know my PMG4 crahses at any time, I do not know the cause of it. I'm running 10.2 on Dual 1Ghz DDR 512MB RAM,

Belkin PCI Usb two port card

Epson scanner, epson printer, isub + soundsticks, 100MB Zip, ADSL modem....

I do not know what is wrong, it just crashes when it wants to....

Please any suggestions, I have just replaced 10.2.4 with 10.2, to no avail....

My geuss is that it is connected with the PCI USB card...

First use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions.

The PCI card is a suspect, and also try swapping out any RAM (especially if you've bought any third party RAM - but even the Apple RAM could be faulty).

If none of those measures fix the problem, it's a bit more subtle. You might have a trashed Preferences file.

Well, this is what it did, but I won't know if that has solved it.... Either until it crashes, or it doesn't...

Thanks for the help, it hasn't crahsed fopr about 45mins, so it has been doing good.

It still crashes... Could it be the PCI card? My geuss is that it is, the RAM I have had since ay one with the machine since last September, so that shouldn't be a cause...

    Any ideas...?

I also need an anti virus and a system repair app, both for OSX, got any ideas?

easiest way to test it is pull the card out for a few days and see what happnes. simple yet effective. the best kind of testing.

True I will try it. I have had it pon today for about 8 hours and not one crash, so it's looking good. Still staying away from 10.2.4 though
