Switcher Q - Folders in Mail

As a recent switcher and former user of Outlook Express, I'm trying to figure out how to add folders to save my e-mail in. I can't find anywhere in Mail that talks about archiving or folders and I'd really like to save some of my e-mail.\

    folders are called "new mailboxes"

    Ahhh. Well O.K. I don't see why Apple would call a folder a mailbox but I'm not going to worry about it. Thanks for the info.

    yeah it is weird... i wasnt sure what it did when i first tried it either... but it was the only think that could possibly be a new folder so I tried it... \
