Here's my problem... I have some movies on CDR in the XVID/AVI format (completely legal copies of DVD's i own myself ), but i don't seem to be able to watch them on my powerbook... Now i'm "forced" to watch them on my wintel machine. Does anybody know if there's xvid player/decoder/codec available for Mac?

Thanx.

Maybe try mplayer if you're on osx. Better performance than VLC and more compatible than quicktime + plugins.

I think the terminal version may be more current than the stand-alone and its pretty straightforward anyway.
